Abbreviation (US Terms)

ch - chain

MR- magic ring

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

hdc- half double crochet

tr - treble crochet 

inc - increase

sl st - slip stitch

sk - skip

× - multiple times

 



Crochet Rose Bookmark


Ch 29

Start from the 4th chain

R1: (3 dc) into same stitch, sl st, sk 1 × 9 petals


R2: Turn your work, ch 2, dc, (2 dc), dc, ch 2, sl st × 9 times


Leave a long tail. Roll up & sew it


Leaf sepals


R1: MR, 5 sc (5)
R2: inc all (10)
R3: ch 5, 2 sl st, sc, hdc, sk 1, sl st × 5

Leave a long tail
Join this with rose



Leaf and stem


Ch 9

1st half: sc, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc, ch2

2nd half: Sc into same st, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc, sl st, ch 1

Then ch 56 or length of your book

Join into under  the rose leaf sepals.
