  • Medium weight yarn 4
  • 2.5 mm hook
  • Stitch Markers
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle


Terms used:

Us term

Sc - single crochet

inc - increase

BLO - Back loop only

( ) - work into the same stitch

Rep - Repeat

× 2 - repeat the stitches few more times

[ ] - Repeat the stitches in these brackets

R2: 1 sc, (3 sc), [ 1 sc, (3 sc) × 2 more times]

R3: 2 sc, (3 sc), [ 3 sc, (3 sc)  × 2 more times], 1 sc

R4: 3 sc, (3 sc), [ 5 sc, (3 sc) rep × 2 ] , 2 sc


R5: 4 sc, (3 sc), [ 7 sc, (3 sc) rep × 2 ], 3 sc

R6: 5 sc (3 sc), [ 9 sc, (3 sc) rep × 2 ], 4sc

R7: Sc (BLO) all
